This is a Deering Goodtime Special w/ resonator and tone ring. Comes with a hardshell case in good condition. The banjo is only 6 months old, and is in "like new" condition with MINOR wear on the head. Also, professionally installed spikes at the 7th and 9th frets.
I just bought a Deering Sierra ($1850.00), so this has got to go.
This banjo PLAYS and FEELS like a $1500+ banjo, but as you can see, skimps on the cosmetics and uses guitar tuners instead. Check any banjo site, and they'll tell you, THIS is the banjo to get for learning, traveling, camping, or as a great 2nd banjo. I really wish I could keep it, but the $$$ isn't there to do so. This price is about $100 less than typical street price for new and with only a gig bag, if at all.
