I was asked to record some cover songs for promotional purposes, so I decided to do each one with a little surprise in order to avoid getting bored out of my mind. This is an acoustic cover of a smash hit with a twist.

The audio that I recorded through the mic ended up shorter than the video. Weird.. AND it had this funny skipping sound. I lengthened the mic audio so that it would sync up with the video but WASN'T HAPPY at all! what kind of mic shortens the audio it records &#%??!!

Interesting idea switching back an forth from guitar to keyboard. A couple of things caught my ear though. One is the guitar has a fuller bottom end than the keyboard. So the rapid switches bounce the listener back and forth between "full" and "thin." Then there were spots where the switch wasn't rapid and it created a pause in the backing music.

The idea might be worth tweaking though. And of course it is only going to work well via video. An audio listener isn't going to "get it."
