Decent generic version of drums on demand?

As usual, I'm being a total penny pincher, and instead of wanting to drop cash on Drums on Demand, I'm considering delving into one of the $20 CD sets of drum loops on ebay. I'm tired of programming, mouse clicking, trigger-hitting, keyboarding out drums, etc.

Has anyone tried one of the "generic" Drums on Demand, and please point me in the right direction with a link or the name I can use to search....

If no one chimes in, I'll probly still get one and let yall know how it is. So you have that to look forward to.

...

I went with beta monkey's double bass/metal package. more to come...
