I take it you tried to explain that moontraveler's lottery for good tape vs. useless tape (assuming everything is in the correct box....) isn't one you or any sane person would want to play?

Beck - That's awesome. If I win, I hope I get one of the Age of Consent tapes. Ironically, these tapes could be 18. Well, the tape looked like it was 18 years old.....

Steve - If you decide to pick up the item, stop by the high school and say hi.

Everybody - Maybe these two posts shouldn't be together.

And I mean it in the nicest way... as nice as one can say it. I'm just a bit tired I think... moment of weakness and all that. If I had a nickel for every time I sent a seller a friendly informational note over the years I could retire.

This time instead of trying to explain everything to the seller I decided to vent here instead. So this time I admit it was all about me and making myself feel better rather than actually doing something constructive. :o :p

I felt kinda like Indiana Jones in the sword fight scene… you know I was tired so I just shot him rather than go through yet another sword fight scene. I'll feel better tomorrow. :D

I'll be picking it up at 10. I'll bring you a coffee. ;)

Ha ha, thanks for the offer Steve.

If you're ever by the Lynn area and want to check out my studio, send a PM.

There was a guy a few weeks back using all kinds of unrelated keywords in his listing in order to populate as many buyer searches as possible...and his listings were showing up all over the place.
I sent eBay a note....they pulled the listings...3 days later, they were all back EXACTLY the same way.

eBay is NOT going to bite off the hand that feeds it...and it ain't the buyers...it's the sellers.
That’s who they rape with all kinds of fees….not to mention PayPal too.

If they come down too hard on the sellers, then they stop posting listings and buyers go elsewhere.
I get constant "incentives" messages from eBay to sell and keep selling.
What sucks is, you really have to mark-up your prices JUST to cover eBay/PayPal and shipping fees...!!!...and then the item is WAY overpriced.
I always take a hit when I sell...but then, I figure I kinda make up for it when I'm buying, 'cuz it's the other guys turn to take the hit! :D
