Hey people....I have a pair of KRK rp 8's that I bought about a year and half ago...anyways, I've been fairly pleased until recently...One of them just died on me while I was working. I checked the fuse, which was quite blown, replaced it, and proceeded to blow two more fuses. Obviously she's broken. Would a normal amp/guitar/electronics fixin' dude be able to repair them? Or do I have to ship them back to krk? Bare in mind I know nothing about electronics, and I'd rather not have to go to the trouble/expense/annoyance of shipping the thing . Thanks in advance.

I would at least call those local places b4 I sent it back to KRK unless it is still in warrantry.

Check this thread out - the dude tore one apart - he has a link to his site with pictures as he tears it apart and fixes it:

It might be worth a shot on posting your question. Fuses blowing point to a short circuit somewhere.
