Good Morning or Afternoon All,

I have happened upon a little bit of money and I have been doing some research on hardware mixers that I can control my software programs with. I currently have a Delta 66 soundcard and frequently run Cool Edit Pro for laying down my tracks.
I have done a little bit of research on the following DAW external recorders and was wondering which one was a better buy or most user friendly.
My choices are between:
1) Roland RPCSI24 Studio Package Pro
2) Tascam FW1884 DAW Controller/Audio/MIDI Interface
3) Mackie Control Universal 8-Channel Master Controller
Ideally I would like to go from the L/R outs on the controller to the 1/2 INS on my delta. But I was just hoping some of you all would have had some experience with the following DAW controllers and could give me a little bit of input.
I appreciate all and any responses.
Thank You

I Like the Mackie Control (even though it has no mic pre's, etc...)

The Tascam is nice but it is missing a vital part. An LCD display. I need to have that especially when mixing. Why get a controller and still be locked to staring at the screen all day. When u are automating a mix staring at the screen is distracting. IMO.

I have a control and 3 extenders for 32 faders and I love it.
