DAW changed my external path to F:\ now nothing works..

I have windows XP and Adobe Audition 3.0...I got the Delayed write failed baloon which I always get if I forget to save my projects and let my computer turn off. Only this time when I turned it back on, My external hard drive is set to F:\ where it used to be E:\ now Adobe can`t find my existing projects or the F:\..so it will only let me record to my c:\ ....anyone?

I don't think it's within the power of Audition to change the designations of external drives. Those are usually assigned automatically by your operating system when you plug something new in.

I'd be looking at Device Manager in your Windows Control Panel rather than Audition. I suspect it thinks you have an :E drive plugged in (even if you don't) and just called the next one :F.
