Dat?

Where I work, there is a Dat machine laying around. It had been used to sore information, and has scuzzy outs. My question is, can I use this machine to transfer a Dat with recorded music on it to my 4 track?
 
I don't know man, if it's that scuzzy and has sore info, I wouldn't hook it to anything of mine, you might catch something :)

But since it sounds like you mean a DAT backup drive for a computer, the answer is no, there's nothing you can do with this relative to audio except that they both use similar tapes.
 
Wow, that could explain that oozing coming from my hard drive?
