Damn Pops And Clicks

I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY SOUNDCARD AND CUBASIS. I AM RUNNING LIKE 16 AUDIO TRACKS WITH EFFECTS ON SOME BUT I KEEP GETTING POPS AND CLICKS.

I HAVE:
P2 400 MHZ BUMBED TO 450 MHZ
256 MB RAM
10 GIG HARD DRIVE
20 GIG HARD DRIVE
GINA SOUND CARD
CUBASIS
WINDOWS 98 SECOND EDITION

Check your latency settings

Some possible issues:
1. Latency and buffers, like Stealthtech sead.
2. Video card. If you are having PCI card reduce color depth, or better yet switch to AGP.
3. Cable interference. Loops and line cables crossing power cables.
4. Dirty power, may need conditioner.
