say i have a fener deville 410 and another marshall amp-and i wanna hook these together at the same time...
first off how would oyu just straight daisy chain them so there both on all the time....and second how would you do an a/b box sort of thing???

I would suggest against daisy chaning them together. ie, line out of one, into the input of another.

What is the best bet so that both amps are used to their fullest, is to send your guitar signal into both amps seperately. So you have to split them from the guitar cable into a Y direction. Further more, if you could control each signal after it is sent, via and on/off foot switch, so you have even greater control of your sound.

1.Deville
2.Deville w/Marshall
3.Marshall

Oh wait....the Marshall has its own foot switch for its 2 channels.

1.Deville
2.Deville w/Marshall A
3.Deville w/Marshall B
4.Marshall A
5.Marshall B

Now factor in pickup configurations and tone controls and volume controls and EFX pedals and...............

so really between the amps themselves theres 3 ways....deville, marshall, and both

now how about my effects...i'd want my effects so they went to both amps just to make it easier and less complicated

my big question on amp or no amp--is just i see how a mxr doubleshot distortion and see if that gives me enough bottom end or since thats already 130 should i just give 300 more bucks and get a mg100dfx which my other guitarist has and is a nice little amp and use the distortion on that which is pretty ass kicken and not worry about going tube on the marshall since i have the tube warmth and tone on the deville i just need the bottom end

are you wanting two have the sound of two amps that you can switch between, or feeding both amps at once?

both can easily and cheaply be done with an a/b box

i guess if its easy both amps together and seperately.....

There is no comparison to tube distortion. If I have you figured right, you are adding 130+300 correct. $430?

Get a used JCM800 or 900 combo. You might be able to get one that cheap. Otherwise just save a little more. Its worth it all the way.

The 900 has channel switching so you could do more, but some people like the single channel 800 more.

My nod is for the 900 so you can have 2 clean channels running at once. Stereo chous or delay cannot be matched. Period. Maybe even toss on an Overdrive pedal for the deville. mmm...thats some power right there.
