D160(v2) digital input ROUTING question

i'm thinking of picking up a D160 (or D160v2) for use in my home studio. i realize that these units have 20-bit A/D converters. i was "thinking" of using a higher resolution A/D converter to send a signal to the digital input of the D160(v2)...which i know is switchable between ADAT and SPDIF modes. my question is....if the digital input is my ONLY "two channel" input on the unit..can i ROUTE the signal to ANY pair of tracks (or does the digital input automatically go to a designated pair of tracks)? in otherwords,..is there some sort of internal "patchbay" which would allow me to send a two-channel digital signal into the D160(v2) and route it to ANY pair of tracks that i choose? Fostex users let me know if you can. cheers.
 
yup, you can select which pair of tracks you'd like to send the digital signal to. just go to the menu and select the tracks.
