D-90 limited remain time....new user

I am not familiar with these machines and although loaded up with a large enough drive 20Gb still only has remaion time of a little over 3 hrs.

whereas the 2 other machines I also have which are D-108's problem giving me 60 + hrs

is there a firmware update to sort this?

any help will be great
