What kind of processor?

How fast is your HD (rpm)?

All I can say about my processor is that it's stated as a 'Genuine Intel Pentium(R) ll (which, I know, isn't saying much) @ 398 MHZ. My OS is Win98. I don't know what the speed rate of my hard drive is, and don't know where I could locate that info. My system is about two years old (or better), so it is quite likely that my hard drive is travels at the slower rate. As far as CakeWalk is concerned, I went to their website to check out what the system requirements were. With the processing speed I am in a somewhat satisfactory position, but find myself just borderline with the RAM. I didn't obtain the manual with this program (a gift from an out of town relative, who moved on to CUBASE) but felt that I didn't need it for what I intended to do with the program (it is solely used to record vocals against the lined in music from my stand alone music sequencer). I think that I should contact him, for the manual anyway, because it appears that it may be needed after all. Thanks to you (and AlChuck) for your replies.
