I noticed a post here saying that Proaudio 9 worked flawless on XP pro. Would it work with the home version and would I have to have any driver updates?

Your hardware & pc setup not withstanding, I don't see any reason why PA9 would have any problems under XP Home edition.

If there are problems, you can install old programs using the compatabilty wizard in XP. I have found this very useful. You can install any program that was designed to run on win95 or newer. I believe it makes the program "think" it is in the old operating system.

For me the main thing would be that you can record more than two tracks at a time in PA9 but you're limited to 2 in HS 2002...
