hi,
i understand the basic principal of cut & paste.
i'm a bit confused how this works in practice.
if i record say 8 tracks and want to put a bridge from another part of a song
that i recorded seperately say at the end of the song.
how do you cut paste specific tracks?
or can you?
what i'm looking to do is compensate for lack of being able to program a complex
time change on the bridge on the drum machine. so i would
record the drum, non midi for the verse. then do the bridge seperately
leaving it w/no drum. then after splicing it to the middle of the song
coming back and by hand tapping in the drum pattern.
i've never actually done the paste thing because i always used midi.
but since midi is broken on my drum machine i now record drums on 2 tracks.
