Hey, I'm just beginning my adventure with Ableton Live but have achieved some pretty interesting results with it. There's one thing I cannot figure out though.
In the session view, I can trigger loops with a button. That's pretty cool. The problem is, I made a couple of loops of the lenght of 4.2.2 (whatever this number means).
The problem is when I trigger a loop it does not wait to the end of the 4.2.2 loop but starts after just four notes and the whole thing is off. I know I can control how long do clips wait for being played by using Global Quantization.
But how to set the Global Quantization option to the 4.2.2. lenght? It only allows me to set things like 4,8, 1/4 bar etc., none of which, I suppose, is equal to this 4.2.2.
I just want to be able to press a button anytime during the main loop and it would wait for the nearest 4.2.2 (or multiple of this) to start.
