Cubasis VST - please help!

Dear all

I've been using the above for a coupl'a months now and MIDI is going great.

However, Audio is going nowhere and I have become most frustrated.

I have plugged my mic into the Audio In. This is picked up fine by Microsoft Sounds recorder. In Cubasis, I have ensured that the correct Input is switched on, yet no sound is input nor recorded.

I have also ensured that the 'In' button is highlighted on the Channel mixer.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong??

not sure...

...since I'm not familiar with "Cubasis" (just Cubase), is there a VST Inputs window? You'll have to open that (if something like it exists), and set the correct inputs to ON (the ones corresponding to your sound card). OTOH, if you've already done that...

Make sure the corresponding input goes to the corresponding channel... if that's done...

Could be something in your AUDIO setup.

Give us some more details on your soundcard and
setup. (signal path and monitor system) Maybe
someone will be able to help.
