cubase

is cubase 4 a 32 bit platform or a 64 bit daw ?
and does it come as one disk mac + windows installers or do you have to buy the one you require ?
only reason i ask is because i would like to keep my options open to change my pc for a mac later on down the line.

it's currently 32 bit but 64 is in the works... it will work on a 64 bit machine though as i understand it... might want to check out cubase.net... and you get both pc/mac versions...

just something else i dont get the new g4 mac's can have up to 16gig of memory in them if you use cubase would it be able to use it all or would it suffer from the same threshholds of a pc (32bit up to 2gig per application) ?

no trial versions available of C4... lite versions ofSX3 are out there though... the memory limitation is a widoz problem... one of the reasons to upgrade to vista (eventually)
