Can I use the Windows Compatibility Mode run Cubase4.1 in XP and have the thing work properly. Since I'm asking how about compatibility for Home Studio 2002 if you know anything about that. I'm a hobbyist and don't want to upgrade (spend money) to go to Cubase 6 or whatever they say I need to run in Windows7.
My particular Cubase never worked properly in XP (yes everything was set properly...I did the same manipulations on new machine and it works...kind of).
