cubase vst 4.0 and send midi clock?

I have cubase vst 4.0 and I want to send midi clock to my Korg X3 keyboard. I can't seem to get it to work. I can hit play on the Korg sequencer and start record on the Cubase, that will work but I want to be able to sync so I thought if I could get midi clock to work that would be better. I have set my Korg to EXT. Nothing!
I have hooked up the midi cables the right way.
I have Creative Audigy 2 soundcard, Pentium 4 Intel, Windows Xp.
Any help would be appreciated!
