cubase system 4(unsure)

hi all.im a newie with some help.is the system 4 a good program to use.is the hardware a substitute for a good sound card or does it juat make it easier to plug in.this will be my 1st purchase into the recoerding world.am i taking too much on or will i be ok,thankyou.

Seems like a very nice and handy set to begin with.You've got your editor and sequencer in cubase, your midi in/out on the interface, a couple of inputs and even some inserts. I can't say anything about the quality, but if I was looking for something to start with, I'd take this one into consideration.
