I have Cubase SX3 and I recently bought a copy of EastWest's Colossus (http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jul05/articles/colossus.htm). I want to use Cubase to record what I'm playing in Colossus as midi. I've activated Colossus as a VST inst. in Cubase and the Colossus interface pops up (also a bunch of new midi tracks I think), but I cannot figure out how to get Cubase to record it. Could someone help steer me in the right direction?

thanks

?

Do you mean you are unable to record MIDI onto a track, using that as an instrument? If that's the case then go into the track inspector to the left and choose the instrument for that track, and of course the correct channel.

If you mean that you can't record it as audio internally, then I'd look at track freezing, or TapeIt (free download) to record it as audio.
