Cubase SX2 problem

Hi, cubase has only just started doing this to me but...

The monitoring isn't working properly, the sound is coming through and it is showing the signal on the input channels but not on the actual track I am recording to.

anyone know what is up with it?

nope, it's a full legit version.. it was working fine uptil a couple of days ago.. not sure what it is?!?
