Cubase SX syncing to MOTU 2408. PLEAASE HELP!!!

I currently use VST 32. Syncs to my motu 2408 well. For some reason when I changed my OS to XP. I try to sync using the same buffers, but it doesn't sync well. Starts cracking and all kind of mess. What is up with that?

I experienced same problem with my MOTU 24i. They told me to go into the console software and adjust the buffer.

You might want to try the latest MOTU drivers from their web site.

if yo uwant to avoid and sync problems in the future I would really reccomend a midi timepiece. THat thing hard locks everything down. I have two digimaxes and 3 adats and it makes it all work smooth. I could never get it right without it
