Cubase SX Latency on XP

Hello

I'm having a bigger latency problem with SX than VST. I was running VST on Win98 and upgraded to XP and got SX. The latency is literally 2 seconds! Does anyone know which items I can turn off in msconfig to speed up the processing? I have a 2.0 gigahertz system with 512 RAM so I didn't expect that much latency. I'm also using an Audigy 2 card.
 
You're processor and ram is more than capable of operating at very low latency. The problem souns like your sound card. Install the asio drivers for it if it has some and go to device set up in the devices menu. Select the asio driver and reduce the latency.
