Hey guys. I really need some help...

I have an RME Multiface (the first version) and I've been using it with SX3 for sometime now and had no problems.

Up until now, I've only been needing to track one channel at a time. However, I am now wanting to record multiple tracks (with the RME I have 8 in's).

I am having trouble doing this though. I have the ASIO Hammerfall DSP device selected... but whenever I pull down the "In" Menu on a channel, it only has "ASIO Hammerfall DSP Stereo In" available, and then a Left and a Right channel to choose from. These L/R channels are my 1 and 2 inputs on the Multiface. So if I needed to record 2 channels at a time, I am fine. But if I want 3 or more...??

I've tried several things to allow for all my inputs to be allowed to be selected, but haven't been successful. Any advice??? Thanks a lot...

Go into VST Connections in the devices menu (I think?). It should bring up all the in/out channels you have available. Some may be inactive.

Play around with these settings, you will find it eventually.

Yes, thanks!! This definitely has fixed the problem.

The only issue I have now, is that the only input that shows any levels on the meters is Input 1. Every other input records properly, however the level never meters. I tried playing around in the "Studio" tab of the VST Connections menu.. but the choices are very limited.

Any thoughts?

If the other inputs are set up the same as input 1 in cubase, it might be a hardware option. Is there any options on the interface itself?
