cubase studio 4 not seeing motu 828

just got a brand spanking new copy of studio 4 but when i've connected it all up i can't get my motu 828 (mk 1) to pop up in any of the devices options. i'm assuming cubase is needing a driver maybe? odd, as it works with garageband no probs at all!

any ideas??

and now it works??

all i did was run up se3 and try that, the motu appears in the devices setup.
closed it down, opened up Studio 4 and it appears in that too!

no idea how i did it but it works now.
