Cubase SL3 on a Powerbook

I did a search, and found about 9347918741932479 results, so I thought I'd make a new post. Pretty simple question--Will Cubase SL3 run okay on a g4 1.5 GHz Apple Powerbook? It meets the requirements fine, but the *recommendations* say a Dual 1.8 G5!

Also, what input interfaces do you suggest? I want at least 6 XLR inputs. The Powerbook and Cubase are gonna break my bank like crazy, and I don't want to spend another small fortune.

If you're doing ANYTHING with music, it's 'gonna cost you more than a small fortune. This AINT a cheap hobby.
