Hello all. Last week I posted a problem about importing a MIDI file into Cubase but I couldnt explain it well so you couldnt help much. I think I can guide you better this time tho
I use Guitarpro, which for those not familiar with it, basically reproduces MIDI tracks (each one assigned to an instrument). What I want to do, and actually managed to, is export the drums MIDI track to use with a VST within Cubase to make it sound better. Later on I can record real guitars, etc. and make a "real" song.
Ok so, inside the Guitarpro software, the drums have a bpm of 108 and start at the right time.. However, when I import the MIDI in Cubase, choose the ezdrummer VST, etc. and hit play, for some reason the drums are accelerated, so it starts way before than it should.
I cant figure out why it does that. If I play the MIDI track with windows media, it sounds just like inside guitarpro
My guess is it has something to do with the metronome or something like that, but I cant find what is causing the problem. I'm new to this whole thing and it's a huge piece of software, so forgive me if it's a silly question
Thank you very much
