For the last couple of days I've been recording with cubase and everything's bee just fine. however today when I came into to work, every song I played back sounded like it was on "33 instead of 45". Why? Does anyone have any sugesstions on what might have when wrong and how to fix it? Also can you save your music to anything other than the hard drive, like a zip disc or anything.

MAC G4 350
640 RAM
echo gina
fostex vf160

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you may have accidently adjusted your samplerate. Once I bumped a project recorded at 44.1 to 96khz because I thought I might be able to record a track at a different samplerate so I could compare quality side by side. Well, I discovered that I couldn't do that...and I also discovered that the other tracks then sounded like I was in "Alvin and the Chipmunks" :D

You can save your music files to any medium you want, although if your files are like mine there is little use for zip disks...they would only hold a song or two at best.
