cubase recording

yes iam fairly new to this and I need help I have the manual but I don't not what iam looking for and iam turning to you for help. Ok when recording in cubase I have problem syncing my recording. is there any why to set up my keyborad and record button on cubase to begin at the same time or like when I press a key the recording starts. Sorry Iam really confused in my wording but I would appreiciate you response

I give myself some leadtime when I record the first track( a 16 count). That gives me time to situate myself after I hit the record button for the second track. This avoids that jump spot when you first hit the record button which throws it out of sync.
