cubase playback problem

Hi,

I have a midi drum track and am recording analogue bass on top. There is no lag on the monitoring of the bass when I play.

I record by playing to the midi track fine, and it sounnds fine, but when I play it back, my bass part is out of sync, it actually is coming in too early, like 100ms or so earlier than the beat. so its like the opposite to latency.

I am using an maudio 410 firewire usb device. Cant see anything in the settings to account fore this? any idea? thanks

Ha ha ha, that's funny. But seriously, is it firewire or USB?? Not that it matters in this case.

Be sure to use your ASIO driver and not anything else. It's listed in the Device Setup. After selecting the ASIO driver open the control panel for it and check your buffer settings. You might ahve an option to perform an Auto check. Do that if you can, it will decide the best settings for you.
