Cubase LE5---what are you using to remove pops? noise?compression?

I have been looking thru LE5 trying to find something to take out noise, pops and such...

What are people using?

I am familiar wuth the VSTs cubase provided...but looking for advice nevertheless.

What kind of pops are you talking about?? If it is from editing, use crossfades.

If it's from your computer, you need to experiment with latency and buffer settings and try to optimize your computer.

someone bumped a mic on a particular track..

I have an electric guitar track with a few crackles...could have been a bad cord

I thought there may be a few VSTs to use....I can automate around most of it but I was curious for another soultion

Naw man, you will need to do this manually. Depending on the instrument, you may need to cut out the bad stuff, then time stretch either side, to fill the gap. Damage control 101...
