Hey, im looking to buy a firepod in the very near future. My friend and I are building a home studio and need to know all we can about cubase LE. Is it easy to use? Can I run 8 inputs (for drums) in at one time into the LE program with just one firepod? What are the specs for using cubase le for windows XP? What are the specs I need for it to run smoothly with no problems? What plug-ins or effects are in it already (reverb, etc.) Can I buy more plug-ins (Auto Tune, etc.) Is Cubase LE for me? Thanks a lot

Cubase is a breeze to use after a little time using it. I do believe the Firepod now allows for 8 channels of simultaneous recording (for awhile there, you could only use 4 simultaneously). Here are the requirements: http://www.presonus.com/firepod.html
check this one for a bit more info: http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/cubase/cubase.html

You can upgrade with any VST, VSTi, or DirectX (not DXi) plugins. The ones included with Cubase LE (or any other version for that matter), are OK and will get you started, but eventually you'll wan't to upgrade them (At least the Reverbs anyways).
