The Lexicon Omega USB interface comes with Pro Tracks.
, or on, newer versions, with Cubase LE. Which program is better?

I don't think you'll find that one program is clearly "better" than the other. Some people tend to like the layout of certain platforms better than others, but the functionality is fairly comparable. I use Cubase SE (which is very similar to LE, with perhaps a few more effects per channel) and have never used ProTools LE. That being said, PTLE is a very popular program that comes bundled with a number of pieces of recording hardware. It largely comes down to personal choice and comfort level with a certain piece of software. Pick one platform and learn to use it well. Good luck.

Regarding Your Response

Thanks for the reply, however The program I was wanting compared to Cubase LE was Pro Tracks, by Cakewalk, I think, not Pro Tools.

oops, my mistake. don't know anything about pro tracks. sorry.

I have an older copy of Pro Tracks (2.2, came with my DigiTech floor processor). It's not much but it gets the basic job done. From the looks of it, you have pretty much all the most basic functions. You can record audio (only up to 16 tracks) and MIDI tracks (unlimited) and put effects on them (I think it just comes with the crappy generic Cakewalk FX). The routing looks a little less flexible than in Sonar, but maybe I'm just being fooled by the different interface design. VST plugins are not supported, but it has DXi support (and includes one softsynth). If it's all your have, it'll get you by just fine until you upgrade to one of the 'big boys.'

I don't have any experience with Cubase LE so I can't really help you out there, but I would guess the features are roughly similar.
