I've serched for one but can't find one. Something thats covers all the basics and is easy to understand. panning, mixing, recording, compressing, effects etc. etc. AnyI'm sick of trying to ask people over the internet and getting answers within days of when I asked it.

So, does anyone got one?

I know that there is 5 LE threads on the first page, sorry for another one.

Hi CS, i don't have one. I think it's all in the manual. However you could try this link.

ftp://ftp.steinberg.net/Download/

Wow, thats good resource. Thank you.

SE/LE is just a subset of the standard SL/SX package (about 70% or so if I remember right...)

I use SE and bought this book:

Cubase SX/SL Power by Robert Guerin - $23
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/15...5Fencoding=UTF8

It's a great guide to have around and covers everything that SE/LE does... especially all the basics.

Thanks, that looks like good resource. I willl have to get something similar to that.

I'm still open to suggestions.

Have you tried the help file??

It should cover the basics eh?

use the .pdf files that came with LE. It spells out all the basics you need. There's the 'getting started' file, and the full manual for when you need to know something a bit more in depth.

yeah just read the operation manual. It's clear and easy to understand. If you want more, get cubase sx power. I would get the older one though becasue the newest version covers SX with the new interface. The older one has the same look as LE. There is also a Cdrom tutorial you can get on pcaudiolabs.com that's for sl/sx, but again can be used with LE. I own both of these and they are helpful.
