I'm unsatisfied with adobe 2.0 trial, and I don't want to go back to 1.5, so I'm trying out cubase. I set up the asio to be my m-audio 1010lt. It says that all the inputs should be visible, the outputs as well. In device setup, the card looks like it is accepted in the program, but I click on the little e in the audio track and look at the input selection, and all I get is "m-audio asio inputs left or right" I see now individual inputs. I've tried everything I can think of , what am I doing wrong? I really love the platform and will buy it if I'm sure I can use my stinking sound card for more than one track at a time!!!!

Add a few mono input busses and then select whoch inputs you want inside the connection manager (vst connections). Basically, the inputs are visible, but Cubase by default sets up a single stereo input so you should make your own I/O template.

ok, that seemed to work, thanks a heep, now do you have the answer to the saving question I posted below?
