Cubase crashes when DeClicker VST is in use

That´s the problem. I can´t open my project without cubase crashing 100% because of the project saved with DeClicker activated. So my question is:
Can I deactivate a VST input on a track without opening the project itself?

EDIT: I found the solution to the problem. I duplicated the track with declicker on. Which means I´ve learned that Cubase is computing in some way I don´t understand.
