Cubase Conundrum

Hey ive got a bit of an issue with recording live performances. let me explain my setup first:

ive got all of my inputs going into a Yamaha LS9-32. from there it travels through ADAT into a Presonus Firestudio Lightpipe. From there it goes via firewire into my computer where i use Cubase LE 4 to record.

Once in cubase, im able to make 32 audio tracks to record, but when i go to set up the inputs/outputs, im limited to 16 input buses instead of the 32 that i need for recording. any help with this dilemma is greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure LE4 will allow that many track inputs man. Hence LE (Limited Edition).

You may need to upgrade to a paid version of Cubase to track that many at once. Check Steinberg.net for limitations of each.

You could track with Reaper and mix with LE 4.
