Okay so I went out and purchased Cubase 6 Elements. I downloaded it and the additional plug in for MP3 mixing.
Now everytime I record a song it sounds pefect but as soon as I go to mix it down..I listen to it and the song sounds like my voice has been slowed down or pitch shift. So I delete the song, go back into cubase and it's changed all the original vocals to the same sound as the mixed down one..I tried looking in the manual if they're a way to revert these settings but I've lost 8 hours work of vocal work to Cubase now..does anyone know what am doing wrong here or a way to avoid this problem..tried mixing it down in both wav and mp3 and have same problem?
This is an example of what it did to my voice on the latest song- http://www.mediafire.com/?n3gtn6mki8rglg8
