What I love about Steinberg is they listen to their customers. I know some will disagree with me but I totally think they have their ear to the floor and that's why they release updates and hotfixes on a regular basis. They don't seem arrogant enough to assume their software is flawless on first release.
The features just keep getting more and more intuitive and powerful as well. I like how when they release a new version the mind goes, "yeah, that's logical". You can tell they're Germans...ha ha. Also, if you've been using the software for as long as I have (12 years), you kinda feel like you know the developers' thought process, like they're of kindred spirit. I enjoy that sense of belonging. Thanks, Steinberg, for making a great piece of software!
I just put up Cubase 6 for sale in the "For Sale" forum. Full package and I printed out the manual and put it in a binder. I bought it thinking I was going to switch from Tracktion 3 to it and I find it overkill, for what I do and I dont have that much free time to re-learn a DAW. PM me
