Cubase 5 - MIDI help, please?

My equipment:
iRig Keys

I need help to connect this to Cubase. It appears in the menu. I chose it as a MIDI input but it still doesn't detect MIDI activity.

Did you arm the track?
Do you have it routed to anything (the midi output)?

If it's there as the midi intput things should happen. I see it's class compliant so it should just work.

Press F2 to view the Cubase Transport.

Play some keys on the iRig.

Do you see MIDI activity on the transport? There should be a red meter that goes up and down when any MIDI is being sent/received.

If you're getting activity, Cubase is seeing your controller.
