Hi guys and girls,
I recently bought an M-audio oxygen 61 midi keyboard and i've installed all of the drivers needed to use it with cubase 5, however, when I played the keys, there was a slight delay with the sound in relation to the key strokes. after searching on the internet on how to resolve this problem, I ended up changing an ASIO driver to something different and then now sound came out at all, so I changed it back to the original ASIO driver and there is still no sound...
if anyone can help me with the sound problem, and then the latency issue i would be grateful! I have a feeling though, that the latency issue is because i'm using onboard sound (Realtek high def blablabla) here's my system specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Intel core i7 950 3.06 ghz
6gb Tri channel corsair memory
On board sound
500gb HDD
Oh! I've decided to use Asio4all driver to mend the latency problem, but I still have no audio! I'm getting MIDI in activity, but no MIDI out activity. when I play a project I've already made I get audio, just no audio when I play the keys...
