Hello there, I've been working with cubase for a while and I've never had any problems, I used to have a fireware audio interface by m-audio, now I have a fast track pro and there are some things I can't get to work.

If I plug the guitar in it will sound, but things like amplitube3 wont work, it pops up, but that's all it does.
I can't hear the click, metronome
If I take a song from the computer and drag it onto a stereo track, it won't sound

The weird thing is that it does record, but that's all it does.

I'm certain that the vst connections set up is ok, and so is the device manager. I don't understand why I can¡t get it to work, if I switch to the fireware device, everything works with the same settings, but when i switch to fast track pro, I make sure the set up is okay but those things won't work.

If anyone knows what's happening, please tell me, I'm kind of desperate

Could be one of many things.

Driver for the Fast Track the newest available for your system? Selected in Cubase?

Fast track is bus powered USB right? Try a different USB port. If you are running an external HDD with a USB interface, that can cause problems also.

'Mix' knob on face of FT could be turned to input, and not output from computer.
