Why is that every time a band does a shoot they end up looking like idiots and the shots are silly?

We've all done them, if you've ever been in a working band.

In other words, what's the best way to shoot a band?

.50 or .38 caliber?

The band photo has usually been the kiss of death for the bands I've been in. As soon as you get the group photo posted on the web and on your posters, someone leaves!
