this is driving me crazy...
here's my setup
m-audio audiophile 2496
connected to the tape ins and outs of a behringer mx602a
monitors connected to the monitor outputs on the mixer.
i really like this setup, i can control my computers volume from the mixer, BUT
when recording in cubase (or anything for that matter), there seems to be crosstalk between the tape ins and outs; anything that is going into the mixer through them (metronome, monitor mix, etc), is sent back at much lower volume through the tape outputs. i've tested it with basses and guitars lined in, but even with all the channels off it still does this.
any solutions?
