Crossover???

Hello!

Just wandered what the job of a crossover is? What does it do??

It splits a signal into different parts according to frequency range. An active crossover in a PA system will take the signal coming from the board and split it into lows, mids, and highs and send those signals to the subs, mid drivers, and horns.

Your stereo speakers most likely have passive crossovers. It has a little circuit inside to keep the low frequencies away from the tweeter.
