Hey guys,

I guess it's been a couple of weeks since the last one, all good things though. Got a new mix up, check it out, let me know!

I like the bullfrog guitar in the R speaker in the intro.
The drop to 1 git is interesting - not sure it works - might be the effect, might need a vocal level boost. Grabs attention though.
The change at 1.35 is a little jarring.
lyrically "...under THE ground tonight..." is a little clunky.
Excellent tracking Lee.
This mob play prettty well.
Terrific work as usual, I look forward to developments.

sounds great! Love that kick drum sound. If it were me I might turn the bass up a tad, or give the bass some more mids or something.

Also, I had a question on the last song you posted "3 cheers for evil", but I don't know if you saw it:

"Is there some sort of slight autopan or something on the guitars? like on the "I wanted out" part? Or maybe 2 tracks hard panned with one other track thats panning back and forth with each note, and low in the mix? It's blowing my mind and I NEED to know what's happening right there, it sounds awesome. Ping Pong delay timed to the track? Maybe I'm just hearing things?"

Hey BC,

Thanks for the input man, and good question on 3 Cheers for Evil. I don't have the session in front of me this minute, but if I remember correctly, I think it was actually in the strumming of the guitar.

I think Edwin was playing a 16th note pattern there. I think that against the quarter notes the bass plays, perhaps creates that sound you may be hearing.

I am starting to work out the final mixes, so when I get a chance to look at that one again tommorow, I'd be happy to tell you for sure.

You know it's funny how the bullfrog came to be. There was an interesting guitar scratch, which was only a split second. That was then cut and looped.

Can't wait to get in there tommorow and see how I can tweak the tune further.

Alrighty....

got the new version up. I changed up a few things. Also, I've uploaded a new song that we really dig as of now. "New School"

Anyway, let me know what you think.

Oh and BC, I looked at the file and it confirmed what I said.

Sweet stuff. Nice sounds and playing throughout - although the double cymbal hits sound funky - It was something I've noticed before so I assume it's just a style thing. Perhaps the pitch correction isn't so subtle in the first verse..

At 2:27 things just begin to kick ass for a little bit. Nice.

Sounds pretty good. You might be pushing it slightly with the sub bass on kick and bass. They seem to be taking away from the upper mids in everything else.
