Started cleaning my rat trap of a room and found this on an old hardrive i had from my previous band over a year ago.
So i decided to throw the faders up and give this a go on all my new toys i've added since then.

Let me know what ya's think mix wise!

Hey!

Sounds pretty good to me except for the sub is just sorda rumbling - low end is real flabby - if I didn't have the sub, I bet I wouldn't of ever heard it.

Pretty good, man - listen to any Ween?

The keyboard pad is walking all over your low end, and the crash cymbals are mixed just a bit too loud. Nice mellow synth solo there at 1:11.

Yeah, that soft chorus pad could be placed a little more strategically/sparsely. It just sits there camping in the mix.

A tip - try tripling up your BG vocals - at least two for each note in the "chord". It will give a little "air" to the sound.

I like the tune. The mix is not but, just a little thin on the bottom. Other than that, pretty cool. The singers voice reminds me of Bowie a bit.

lol ..nl5 says his subs are rattling and track rat says its too thin!
Now im lost...which wasnt hard to do in the 1st place!

I actually think i know what you both mean..it seems like too much bottom in the beginning...and the verses theres too much crisp coming from that hi-hat.
Thanks guys for the listen..now im gonna go revamp some things and see how far i get.

Well now im confronted with something i never dealt with before. Whats a good way to go about fixing this..as i would want it to sound decent on all sets of speaker systems.
Hunt down some of the bass-ier parts and tweak a little?...or roll off some bottom end from the main outs?
Now ya got me thinking what all my other tunes sound like with subs ya bastard!
