critique this 50 second song please

this song is only fifty seconds long, so no big download committment. this is one of the first recordings i have done with any frills, and while i am well aware of the obvious problems, please scrutinize this recording to death.

all your instruments sound like they have a good signal. Sounds nice.

There are some minor timing issues. a little more practice maybe.

Your backing vocals need a color.. maybe some reverb.

Sounds good.. keep playing!

I think it needs remixing. The drums weren't happening in the mix. Plenty of cymbals...not much else. I thought the bit with the tuba was very cool, nice creativity. Kind of a funny song too, if a little repetitious. The instruments need to come up closer to the vocal level.

I really liked the mix. I'm half-asleep, and that make me wake up a little. The lyrics were unbelievably mundane, but I guess they serve their purpose in a goofy way. Is this a true story, or what?
Oh yeah, and this song is way too long. I could hear some empty hiss there at the end. Better cut it out, otherwise people might get bored at the almost infinite length of this song

Hey Shred.........
Im gettin a heavy Bad Religion vibe from this........ cool.... I am a big fan. I love the Tuba........cool idea. The only criticism that i really have is regarding the vocs. I like the sound of the singers voice but I agree w/ Lt. Bob regarding the instruments needing to come up in level to the lead vocs. Also, another go at the harmonies might be a good idea, you can get em tighter and more in key than that, I have faith in ya. .........cool stuff g
